Fundraiser launched for man injured in Mount Hood ski lift tragedy

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A GoFundMe has been created for a man who survived a tragic ski lift accident at Mount Hood.

On April 30 a tragic ski lift accident left one dead and one injured, both of whom worked in Government Camp. According to Hoodland Fire, two employees were in a maintenance basket at around 9:30 a.m. when it fell, dropping them into rugged terrain.

A loved one created a GoFundMe for the survivor, named Evan Parsons. In the fundraiser description, it states that while workers compensation is covering the medical side, there are many other financial stressors that came about as a result of the accident…
