Multnomah County Moves Forward with Bridge Replacement Project

PORTLAND, Ore. — Multnomah County is asking residents to weigh in on the future of the Stark Street Bridge as planning continues for a full replacement of the aging span over the Sandy River.

The county has launched a community survey asking people how they use the bridge and what they want project planners to consider as replacement options are evaluated. The survey is open through June 30 and is available in English and Spanish.

County officials say the feedback will help shape the range of bridge types and evaluation criteria that will be shared with the public later this summer…
