Moderate business-friendly House member fends off union-funded challenger

Daniel Nguyen, a moderate, business-friendly member of the Oregon House, fended off a challenge from union- and anti-corporate backed candidate John (Waz) Wasielewski Tuesday.

In partial returns tallied as of 8 p.m., Nguyen had secured 76% of the vote to Wasielewski’s 24%.
