PORTLAND, Ore. — A man who was lying in the street was taken to a hospital Friday morning after a driver ran over him near Southeast Yamhill Street and Southeast Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard in Portland.
Portland police said the man was initially believed to have suffered serious injuries, but after arriving at the hospital his injuries appeared to be “fairly minor, all things considered.”
