Portland Police arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder after a woman was found brutally beaten on the streets of downtown Portland on Friday evening.
Paramedics responded shortly after 6 p.m. to a report of an injured woman on a sidewalk along Northwest Naito Parkway in Old Town. The block where she was found is at the west side of the Steel Bridge, near Union Station.
Investigators determined that the woman had been beaten with a blunt object, police said, leaving her with life-threatening injuries…
