SEEKONK, Mass. (WJAR) — An Attleboro mom whose teenage daughter died from cancer is on a mission to help other families with children battling the disease.
Lyndi Baker, the founder of the non-profit Lilly Lights the Way, said while her daughter was sick, she expressed it was her wish that should she get better, to start a foundation, similar to the ones that helped them, to help others.
“She wanted to give back when she was better, but my daughter Lilly passed away from childhood cancer October 28th of 2019,” said Lilly’s mom, Lyndi Baker. “I wanted to make her dream come true of starting a foundation and also keeping her light alive.’…
