A 21-year-old Providence, RI man was sentenced Friday in Fall River Superior Court after being arrested at his place of employment in Taunton in connection to the April 4th, 2024, fatal hit and run incident in Dighton that claimed the life of Paul DeMoura.
Court records show that Michael Laboy pled guilty to a charge of Leaving the Scene of Personal Injury & Death. He received a split sentence of 2 years with 1 year to serve in prison. The remaining 1 year is suspended for 3 years of probation.
