Fall River man sentenced to five years in prison for selling cocaine, firearms

BOSTON, M.A. — A Fall River man with more than 15 prior criminal convictions was sentenced Monday to five years in federal prison for firearm and drug offenses, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Massachusetts.

Carlos Perez, 40, was also sentenced to three years of supervised release.

Perez pleaded guilty in April to four counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition and one count of distributing a controlled substance. He was arrested and charged in November 2025…
