Massachusetts DOT announces Route 24 lane closures expected for 4 days

FALL RIVER – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation has announced that it will be performing ancillary structure inspections on Route 24 northbound and southbound between mile markers 3.0 to 10.9 in Fall River.

The work is scheduled to take place Monday, May 18th, through Thursday, May 21st, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Work is anticipated to be completed by Thursday afternoon, May 21st.

Lane closures on Route 24 northbound and southbound will be in place. Temporary traffic alterations, including lane and shoulder closures, will occur as needed. At least one lane of travel will be maintained at all times, and police will assist with traffic control and safety setups…
