After 40 years, Endless Grind Skate Shop will close its doors. The skateboarding and lifestyle business located at 424 West Peace St. in Raleigh will shut down the physical location while maintaining an online presence.
The owner and former professional skateboarder Reggie Barnes has been a part of the Raleigh skateboarding community since opening Endless Grind in 1986. Selling skateboarding gear, clothes and accessories, the retail store also hosted events and became a meeting place for skaters across the state and beyond.
I’ve made the difficult decision to close Endless Grind,” Barnes said on Instagram. “It wasn’t easy, but I knew it was time. Endless Grind has been part of the Raleigh skate community for four decades, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who supported the shop, shared in its story, and made it what it became.”…
