The City of Raleigh is expecting at least 25,000 people in attendance for this year’s Fourth of July fireworks show. An official said there could be more people because Independence Day falls on a Saturday and America is also celebrating a big birthday.
“It definitely looks like a family fun event, for sure,” said Cary resident Kaitlin Strupe, who is taking her family for the first time.
The Raleigh City Council signed off on the celebration, and ABC11 is the official title sponsor again this year…
