RALEIGH — Ripe for Revival received a $50,000 donation from the Coastal Credit Union Foundation during a check presentation Friday at King’s Ridge in Raleigh.
Ripe for Revival operates a fleet of mobile markets that sell food at around 30% below retail prices at more than 30 weekly stops across 18 counties. The donation will help Ripe for Revival provide fresh food to nearly 12,000 people and roughly 3,000 families through its mobile market program, which brings affordable local produce, meat and dairy to communities across eastern and central North Carolina.
