RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – This Memorial Day, Reno Battle Born VFW Post 9211 (255 VFW Historic Lane, Reno) is revealing the newly renovated space that will continue to serve veterans for years to come.
Mike Biselli, drummer and band manager of local rock band, White Water, has been organizing fundraisers for Post 9211 since 2019. Over the years, community partners have generously donated silent auction items, raffle prizes and grand door prizes to pay for the renovations of the building. Then Shawn and Dawn Colvin, owners of DreamMaker Bath and Kitchen of Reno went above and beyond to to help make the remodel happen.
