VETERAN’S HOME CRUISE PLUS MUSTANG CAR SHOW

RENO, NV (May 31) — The month of May ended with two major car shows. Setting the stage was great weather.

• Saturday was when the Reno Mustang Car Club held it’s Ford car show at Rancharrah. Walking in from the parking lot folks were greeted by a row of Mustangs parked across from the Mansion.

Since it was an all-Ford show there were many types including an early model Ford Ranchero.

Not far way was a Ford GT 40. On the windshield was certification it was powered by a Shelby built 498 V-8 that produces 605 horsepower.

There was a line of Mustangs parked down by the pond. I believe one of them might be an EV version of a Mustang,

Closer to the Mansion was a vintage F100 Ford Pickup. This one was carrying a dirt bike,

Further down the line was a Ford Mustang GT 500KA, which was the 40th Anniversary Edition.

As expected at any car meet part of the main row had Mustangs with their hoods up. All in all it was a great turnout and there was a vendor offering drinks and sandwiches for lunch…
