Jeff Sutich may be uniquely qualified to lead the Nevada Builders Alliance, a role he took on last October after nearly four years at the helm of Northern Nevada Development Authority.
Sutich grew up in Spring Creek and moved to Reno to earn a bachelor of science in economics, bachelor of arts in international business, and a master’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. He began his career as a labor economist before transitioning to the Governor’s Office of Economic Development and the Department of Agriculture. Sutich joined NV Energy in 2018 to support the utility’s economic development efforts before taking on the role of executive director of NNDA in 2022. Along the way, he also co-founded three startups.
