SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) – A Vietnam veteran in Sparks has been awarded the Purple Heart after nearly 60 years.
Former Army Staff Sergeant Thomas Martin was given the Purple Heart during a ceremony at the Nevada Veterans Memorial Plaza on Friday.
