RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – It’s a chance to explore the Wells Avenue District in a way that will leave you hungry for more. The district is hosting A Week On Wells: Bites & Beverages. The weeklong event runs from July 12 to July 18, 2026 and will use social media to feature nearly 60 places throughout the district where people can get something to eat or drink.
“This year, it just felt like ‘Why not?’” says Jenes Carter, President of the Wells Avenue District. “We’ve been doing a whole bunch of other stuff, like building our website and things like that and to just create awareness for the Wells Avenue District and to start off with food just seemed like a fun thing to do.”
The weeklong showcase will culminate with two big events on Saturday, July 18, 2026. There will be a Wells Avenue District Self-Guided Tasting Tour. It will take place from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. All guests will receive a map of the participating locations. The $45 ticket allows guests to follow the self-guided tour, visit every participating location, and receive a featured tasting at each stop. Tickets are $45 and can be purchased here…
