Cal Fire crews are responding to a growing vegetation fire in the Dixie Valley area, near the Snag Hill Lookout.
The blaze, currently named the “3-6 Fire,” is estimated to have burned approximately 5 acres. Smoke from the fire is highly visible in the surrounding region.
Fire officials have launched an aggressive initial attack, deploying aircraft to monitor and drop retardant on the site. Ground resources are also actively responding, with crews being reassigned from other nearby fire incidents to assist with containment and suppression efforts…
