RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — Top REMSA Health officials are pushing back against Sparks Mayor Ed Lawson’s push to consider other emergency medical service options in the region, saying his recent comments to News 4-Fox 11 were ‘perplexing.’
In an interview Monday, REMSA Health chief operating officer Adam Heinz said fragmenting ambulance services in Washoe County would be going backwards, especially at a time when fire departments are considering consolidation.
