A man accused of stealing about $22 worth of merchandise from a Reno 7-Eleven pulled a gun on two employees during a struggle outside the store before driving away, police said.
Reno police officers responded at about 2:23 p.m. April 22, 2026, to the 7-Eleven at 1680 Silverada Blvd. for a reported armed robbery. Officers learned a white adult man, later identified as 25-year-old William Mitchell, selected about $22 worth of merchandise and left without paying, according to police.
Two store employees witnessed the theft and confronted Mitchell as he exited the business. Police said a physical altercation occurred as the employees tried to retrieve the merchandise.
