VIRGINIA CITY, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — One of the West’s longest-running food events returns as Virginia City hosts the 44th annual Chili on the Comstock on Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The lineup showcases chili varieties from blazing hot to mild and savory. This two-day experience also serves as a qualifier for the International Chili Society World Finals. Attendees can add on to the experience by participating in the craft beer tour, the return of ‘The Great Fire-Hot Chili Pepper Challenge,’ and by patronizing Virginia City’s local merchants.
