DPU repairs water main break in Richmond causing low pressure

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – The City of Richmond Department of Public Utilities (DPU) has finished the repairs and compliance testing of the damaged section of 36-inch water main that broke on July 3.

DPU says the low water pressure was first noticed around 1:30 a.m. on July 3.

“Crews responded and confirmed a water main break on a 36-inch line that runs parallel to the canal,” the city said in a news release at the time…
