Richmond, Va (WRIC) — Today will be a tad warmer, with highs in the middle 80s. The end of the weekend brings us a chance for some late day isolated storms. The timing being after 6pm this evening and lasting into our overnight hours. Our main risk will be some gusty winds.
Monday will be pleasant to start and we have a small chance for isolated showers and a pop up thunderstorm late in the day. Highs to start the week will be in the mid to upper 80s.
Tuesday, we are under a level 2/5 risk for strong to severe thunderstorms as our next front will push through the region. Our main risks will be strong, damaging winds and locally heavy downpours. There is a very low tornado possibility for the Delmarva area. High temperatures during the day will be near 90.
By Wednesday we will be dry and highs will have returned to the upper 80s.
The end of next week is trending dry and comfortable with seasonable highs in the upper 80s to near 90. Thursday and Friday will feature mostly sunny skies.
