HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The NASCAR world will turn its eyes toward Richmond Raceway this weekend for Truck Series and Cup Series races. With thousands of fans from all 50 U.S. states and nine countries visiting the Richmond area this weekend, the Henrico County Police Division is warning drivers to expect busy roadways.
In preparation for the Cook Out 400 NASCAR Cup Series race, Henrico Police Captain Matt Pecka told 8News this week that Richmond-Henrico Turnpike and US-360 will be especially busy.
