RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – The Virginia Museum of History and Culture is highlighting the Thalhimer family in its “We the People” exhibit as America approaches its 250th birthday.
Elizabeth Smartt, a sixth-generation Thalhimer, shared her family’s influence in Richmond spanning more than a century.
“My family’s history goes back to 1840 in America,” Smartt said.
