Where the 1880s meet Temecula Valley wine country

You can walk 12 blocks of wooden boardwalks, hand-painted signs, and storefronts that look pulled straight from the 1800s, and never get back in your car.

Old Town Temecula sits in southwestern Riverside County, about an hour from both San Diego and Los Angeles. The name comes from a Luiseno word meaning “place of the sun.”

What sounds like a roadside tourist stop turns out to be something else entirely once you start poking around.
