Our Friday has started out very mild with temperatures only in the 50s, 60s and 70s! This is due to high pressure to our north bringing a northerly breeze and cooler air as a result! Along with a drop in temperatures, our humidity has decreased significantly in the wake of our latest cold front.
As high pressure nudges towards the area to fill in after the cold front passed through, we will see a bit of a breeze today. Winds will gust around 10-15 MPH.
Along with the mild temperatures and light breeze, variably cloudy conditions will be in play along with a stray shower or two. This is due to the low-pressure system moving just off the coast of the Carolinas today. The more widely scattered shower activity will be from 6-11 PM tonight, although an isolated shower can’t be completely ruled out after lunchtime…
