ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – On Our Own of Roanoke Valley, Inc. will host its annual gala, “Reflections of Recovery,” on Friday, Oct. 23, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 4215 Melrose Avenue in Roanoke. Tickets cost about $53 each.
On Our Own is a nonprofit drop-in center that provides support and self-help groups, along with socialization, fellowship, mutual support and recreation for people with mental health and substance use issues. The organization operates through grants and donations.
The center is open seven days a week, including holidays.
