ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)- Folk-punk legends Violent Femmes are making a stop in Roanoke this summer as part of their “45 Years of Violent Femmes” tour.
The acoustic-driven group formed in 1981 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Two years later, their self-titled debut album was released with notable tracks “Blister in the Sun” and “Add it Up.” The album eventually went platinum without cracking the Billboard Top 200.
