ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — The Roanoke Valley SPCA is asking for the community’s help in replacing its current metal locks on all its cats kennels to quiet latch ones. The locks, plus custom kennel covers, will cost $5,600.
“They’re just so loud. They are just really kind of clunky and old,” said Julie Rickmond, the marketing and communications director with the RVSPCA. “We’re hoping to get enough donations to replace the 35 different latches that we have throughout the shelter so that they are much quieter.”
