ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Gas prices are well over $5 in some parts of the country. Prices that high are setting records and now many experts are forecasting that $5 will be the new average soon.
Some gas stations in Roanoke are sitting at $4.25 a gallon and are continuing to rise. According to GasBuddy, the average gas price in Roanoke sits at $3.84 a gallon, with the least expensive station priced 30 cents less.
As gas prices approach that $5 mark, many Roanoke drivers said they’re desperate for relief, saying if they have to spend more on gas, they’re going to have to make some sacrifices…
