LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — A Virginia sheriff said two illegal immigrants have been arrested after a fraud incident at a tire dealership, which revealed a string of fraudulent activity at tire dealerships across the state.
According to Sheriff Mike Miller with the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office, their deputies were first dispatched to Larry Tire and Auto on Woodberry Square on Tuesday.
“An investigation was conducted, resulting in the apprehension of two suspects while attempting to complete a second fraudulent incident,” the sheriff said. “Randal Antonine Borden Cardina and Cristhian Fernando Paguaga Ponce, both illegal immigrants, were taken into custody in connection with the crimes.”…
