ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — No one is currently in prison for the 2007 mob attack and stabbing death of Latasha Shaw.
The woman accused of murdering Shaw, Ebony Mack, was found not guilty at trial. This week, the only person convicted in the case, Terrance Mack, was released after his conviction was overturned because the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office produced information that Mack’s appellate attorneys did not have.
“This was not an exoneration,” Monroe County District Attorney Brian Green said. “It was a determination that he would have succeeded on his appeal or 440 if his appellate attorneys had had that information, and that the case was no longer triable, so we can’t retry Mr. Mack.”…
