ROCHESTER, N.Y. — On Wednesday, around 6:30 p.m., Rochester police carried out a traffic stop in the area of Portland Avenue and Aebersold Street. This later led to officers arresting four people.
Officers say they found that the car, which was involved in the stop, needed to be towed because it was unregistered and had no insurance; a loaded handgun was also found.
Police arrested the 20-year-old male driver, a 20-year-old woman, an 18-year-old man, and a 16-year-old male. Police also report that the handgun was taken by officers, and the suspects are all from Rochester.
All suspects are facing criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, and the driver is also facing traffic violation charges, according to police…
