School’s open: Police urge drivers to watch for students and stop for buses

Students across the region are returning to school.

And that means your morning and afternoon commutes are going to look a lot different with hundreds of school buses on the roads and thousands of students making their way to and from school.

“You will want to leave for work or for your destinations about 20 minutes earlier than you have been throughout the summer,” suggested Rochester City School District Deputy Superintendent Casandra Wright.
