RFD: Fire crews battle early morning blaze on Frost Avenue, scene is under investigation

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — At around 3:40 a.m. on Saturday, the Rochester Fire Department went to a reported structure fire with people trapped at 169 Frost Avenue. An investigation is underway to find out if the fire was started intentionally, RFD reported.

As RFD went to the scene, they got additional reports that the fire was in an upstairs apartment with children inside.

When RFD got to the scene, they saw smoke coming out of the apartment. Firefighters then confirmed that the fire was coming from the second floor, the report said…
