OREGON, Ill. (WIFR) – A report of shots fired prompted a bomb squad investigation Thursday afternoon, and deputies say a suspect is in custody.
Alec Rutherford, 33, of Oregon is charged with possession of an explosive device with the intent to commit a felony, aggravated discharge of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon.
Around 4 p.m., June 4, residents called 911 about a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of W Indian Heights Drive.
