PECATONICA — Growing up, Aubrey Lawler found joy in discovering clothing worth bragging about from a second-hand store.
“I’ve been thrifting with my grandmas as long as I can remember. We were always in the Goodwill or always in the Salvation Army trying to find whatever we could. I think growing up 90% of my wardrobe was probably from a Goodwill,” Lawler said. “That’s my favorite thing to brag about. People will be like, ‘Oh, where did you get this?, The Goodwill. I thrifted that.”
