In just a few weeks kids will be on summer break, and we need to start making plans… starting with Memorial Day weekend.
Memorial Day weekend at my house typically involves a lot of outdoor work mixed with some outdoor fun. We open our pool, plant tons of flowers, tend to our garden, and it ends with the annual Memorial Day Parade in Pecatonica.
Obviously, no Memorial Day weekend is complete without grilling some meats, but you know what else we need to add to this year’s plans? Going to the Kick Off To Summer Carnival in Byron!
