(FOX40.COM) — California Highway Patrol officers have released an image of the vehicle believed to be involved in a hit-and-run that killed a motorcyclist in South Sacramento on Monday, and they’re asking for the public’s help in identifying it.
The crash happened around 6:27 p.m. Monday on Florin Road near Power Inn Road, CHP South Sacramento said.
The blue four-door sedan is said to have made an illegal U-turn. A motorcyclist collided with the sedan and died on the way to the hospital, officers said.
The car has significant broadside damage to the front passenger-side door, and its airbag has also deployed. It was last seen traveling eastbound on Florin Road approaching Power Inn Road…
