SAN FRANCISCO, CA — “On Sunday, July 12, 2026, at approximately 2:09 p.m., San Francisco Police officers assigned to Tenderloin Station were flagged down on the unit block of Turk Street by a rideshare driver who informed the officers that a passenger left a backpack containing suspected narcotics in the vehicle.
Officers searched the backpack and found a large amount of suspected methamphetamine.
Officers developed a plan to work with the driver to arrange for the backpack to be returned to the passenger at the motel where the passenger was staying…
