(FOX40.COM) — A man was arrested Monday after soaring to new heights — and allegedly trespassing in the process.
Deputies with the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting a man on the roof of a Safeway on Florin Road in Elk Grove.
The sheriff’s office released a video of deputies working with the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District to reach the suspect, 22-year-old Ruben Duran. The footage shows deputies climbing a fire truck crane to access the Safeway roof and apprehend Duran.
Deputies booked Duran into the Sacramento County Main Jail on charges of trespassing and resisting a peace officer, according to jail records. He was on felony probation and had an outstanding felony warrant before the Monday arrest, the sheriff’s office said…
