Domestic violence suspect arrested after near 6-hour standoff

(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento Police Department has captured a domestic violence suspect after a near six-hour standoff, they announced via social media on Saturday.

According to officials, officers arrived on the scene on the 1000 block of 43rd Avenue around 12:30 p.m. on reports of a domestic violence incident.

Authorities say the suspect had an outstanding felony warrant and barricaded themselves inside of a residence. After futile attempts to get the suspect to peacefully surrender, crisis negotiators and SWAT were deployed to the incident…
