The man shot by federal immigration officers last week in the Central Valley was released from the hospital Monday and immediately arrested by the FBI, according to his lawyer.
FBI agents executed an arrest warrant on Carlos Ivan Mendoza Hernandez, a 36-year-old national of El Salvador and Mexico, as he was discharged from Doctors Medical Center in Modesto in the early afternoon, Patrick Kolasinski, his attorney, said.
“He was in no condition to be released,” Kolasinski said. “This is wrong in so many ways and we will be tackling it at every level.”…
