Ex-city councilmember Sean Loloee pleads guilty to fraud

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Former Sacramento City Councilmember Sean Loloee pleaded guilty to multiple fraud charges Thursday.

Loloee was expected to change his plea, court officials told ABC10 earlier this week. He pled guilty to three fraud schemes he perpetrated as the owner of Sacramento-area grocery chain Viva Supermarket.

Those charges include one count of conspiracy to obstruct a Department of Labor investigation, one count of conspiracy to defraud the IRS, three counts of filing false tax returns, one count of wire fraud and one count of money laundering, according to the United States Department of Justice…
