ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Charges unsealed over the weekend name the man police arrested in connection with the killing of a mother of five and the injury of a man at a Ferguson gas station last month.
St. Louis County Prosecutors charged Marcus Evans with second-degree murder — felony murder, first-degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action. Evans is being held at the St. Louis County Justice Center on a $2 million cash-only, no 10% bond. Police announced Evan’s arrest on Thursday, but had not named him.
Around midnight on June 30, Ferguson police were called for a double shooting at the BP gas station on South Florissant Road and Woodstock Road. At the scene, police say they found two people who had been shot.
