Goldfarb nursing graduate to work in same St. Louis Children’s Hospital unit that treated her father when he had cancer

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A father and daughter celebrated a special milestone Thursday as she graduated from nursing school.

Katelyn Grandcolas took part in a pinning ceremony to mark her graduation from the Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. She was pinned by her father, Jeffery.

The moment comes nearly 30 years after Jeffery was treated for cancer as a patient at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. His daughter is set to begin working in the same unit where her father was treated…
