GRANITE CITY, Ill. (First Alert 4) – A member of Congress says recent life-safety issues reported inside Gateway Regional Medical Center are “deeply disturbing” and “completely unacceptable.” Rep. Nikki Budzinski, D-IL-13th District, spoke with First Alert 4 about concerns over the Granite City hospital’s ability to pay employees and bills.
“It’s just deeply disturbing and completely unacceptable. From what we’ve been able to gather, and credit to your reporting,” Budzinski said.
