The Rock Hill Police Department responded to a bomb threat at approximately 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 18, at 9586 Manchester Road, in the shopping plaza anchored by Aldi at Manchester and Rock Hill roads.
Due to the high volume of traffic in the area and the seriousness of the threat, police evacuated the plaza as a precaution. Emergency responders from several agencies were on the scene for several hours Tuesday afternoon.
