A juvenile and an adult were taken into custody after an exchange of gunfire early Wednesday in Belleville, police said.
Belleville police officers were dispatched to the first block of Lillian Drive at about 2 a.m. to the report of shots being fired. A short time later, St. Clair County sheriff’s deputies located a vehicle believed to be associated with the incident, according to a news release.
